2023 Spring Field Trip
Historic Land Use and Mill Dam Legacies in Eastern Connecticut

WHEN: Sunday; June 4, 2023; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
WHERE: ​ Meet at Ashford Dairy Bar, 432 Ashford Center Rd, Ashford, CT 06278
COST: FREE to members

The trip will be led by William Ouimet, with support from Sam Dow, Robert Thorson, Andy Fallon.
  • The trip will be rain or shine, attendees should bring appropriate clothing and rain gear as needed. The leaders will bring first aid kits.
  • Attendees must bring water/ drinks, lunch/ snacks for the day. There will be no opportunity to purchase food/ drinks.
  • Trip includes hiking over easy to moderate terrain/trails for less than 0.5 miles.
  • Poison ivy and ticks may be encountered, so take appropriate countermeasures.
