Keck Geology Symposium hosted by Wesleyan 4/29

20 GSC members are invited to join New York Times Best-selling author Simon Winchester and students and faculty from the Keck Geology Consortium for an evening of events

WHERE: Wesleyan University, Middletown.

WHEN: Saturday April 29, 2017, starts at 4pm.

EVENING ITINERARY:
4:00 Rare Book Room Tour, Olin Library - Peruse rare and artists; books related to geoscience and the environment

5:00 Reception - Taste some local beer in a commemorative glass

6:00 Dinner

6:45 Short talk with 
Simon Winchester and book signing

8:00 Movie: “Lawrence of Arabia” on the big screen at the Goldsmith Family Cinema -  Soak up the spectacular desert scenery of Jordan, Morocco and Spain​

COST: $75, first 20 members only. Funds earned go to the GSC Student Grant Fund
